During the opening scene of SpaceBalls she is suposed to marry the lethargic (hence his name) Prince Valium. She is seen angrily asking for her "Droid of Honor" Dot Matrix (who is named after a printing style) Vespa unshockingly gets cold feet and storms off in her luxury starship.

President Skroob sees her in range and, realizing she'd be the perfect pawn in aquiring more air in Planet Spaceball, proceeds to kidnap her her father King Roland proceeds to make an offer with Lone Starr to rescue her for 1,000,000 spacebucks.

Once Lone Starr gets in position they line their ship up with her's and in the process decide to jam (literally, with a rediculously sized jam jar) Planet Spaceball's Star Destroyer. Fighting ensues within Starr's ship with Lone Starr poking fun about how she's a Druish Princess (a play on the archetype Jewish Princess) and Vespa playing that stereotype perfectly. They then enter Hyperactive (parody of Star Wars' Hyperspace) with Dark helmet using "Rediculous Speed" in an attempt to catch up (aparantly according to dialoge this is the only time it's been successfully done)

Later on the desert planet she, Lone Starr, Barf, and Dot Matrix are trying to survive the harsh land but Vespa in her Druish Princess self brought on a rediculous amount of luggage. She softens up during the cold desert night.

In the epic final scene she is safely returned to her home planet Druidia and Starr get's the 1,000,000 spacebucks which he can actually keep due to pizza the hut eating himself

Princess vespa

Princess Vespa.

Princess Vespa is the spoiled daughter of King Roland and a Druish princess. she almost married Prince Valium but married Lone Starr instead and is the spoof of Princess Leia.
